TRIBUNE – For a year now, the university has no longer practiced a strict selection at entry into master 2, but a minimum selection at entry into master 1, with a right to master 2 for those admitted. But you can be an honorable student in master 1 and lose your footing in master 2, as the pace is high, worry the two law professors.

The Bologna 2 process is intended to standardize the education system in European universities. In this context, the license-master-doctorate reform – better known as the “LMD reform” – has changed the architecture of French higher education. The bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees have thus replaced those of Deug, license, master’s degree, advanced studies diplomas (DEA), specialized higher studies diploma (DESS) and doctorate.
