A resident of the Volgograd region stole a truck with barley and wanted to sell the cargo in the Saratov region, but on the way he got into an accident and left an overturned grain truck on the highway.
In the back of the ZIL there were 11 tons of barley worth more than 100 thousand rubles. The truck was stolen from an entrepreneur from the Volgograd region. He reported this to the police, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region said.
Meanwhile, in the Saratov region, an overturned abandoned grain truck with Volgograd numbers was found on the side of the road. The incident was reported to the police.
The suspected 37-year-old resident of the Pallasovsky district of the Volgograd region was detained and confessed to everything.
The unlucky car thief, having drunk strong alcohol, got behind the wheel and drove to the Saratov region to sell grain. On the highway, he lost control, the truck overturned, and the driver fled.
