Today, Sunday, the death toll from the bombing that targeted a fuel station in the city of Marib, eastern Yemen, has risen to 21 civilians.
Muammar Al-Eryani, Yemeni Minister of Information, said in his account on the social networking site Twitter, “The outcome of the heinous terrorist crime committed by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, which targeted a fuel station in Al-Rawdah neighborhood in the city of Marib, with a ballistic missile and a booby-trapped drone, has risen to 21 civilians, including two children.”
Al-Eryani stated that a number of the wounded are still in serious condition, noting that the drone is “Iranian-made.”
The incident was widely condemned by local human rights and human rights organizations.
Yesterday, a local source in Marib told the German News Agency that the terrorist Houthi group had fired a ballistic missile at Al-Rawda neighborhood, north of the city, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
