Afghani national women’s youth soccer team flees to Pakistan

According to the BBC, after charitable organization “Football for Peace” lobbied Pakistan, 32 of the girls and their families, 115 people in total, were awarded visas. The Pakistan Football Federation said so far 81 people had arrived and would be housed at the federation’s facility in Lahore. An additional 34 will arrive on Thursday.
