The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) reported that Renan Dal Zotto, coach of the Brazilian men’s volleyball team, was admitted on Friday due to a drop in saturation. The trainer, who tested positive for covid-19, has a low-dose oxygen supplement and his overall condition is considered controlled.
The vice president of CBV Radamés Lattari, who also tested positive, is clinically better, less sedated, ventilating spontaneously and with less pressure on the respirator.
On this Thursday, Renan announced new squads for the male team: the opposite Wallace, the central Flávio, the setter Carísio and the pointer Vaccari. All will perform next Monday, at the Volleyball Development Center (CDV), in Saquarema (RJ).
Some players are already at the CDV, working with the coaching staff, such as the players called Rodriguinho, Alan, Isac and the setter Fernando Cachopa. As guests are in Saquarema Adriano, Maicon, Darlan, Léo and the Libero Alexandre Elias.
