Airbnb launches this Monday (28) a diversity manual to guide the site hosts in receiving LGBTQIA+ guests.
The document has information on gender diversity and makes recommendations on how to avoid personal questions and seek to understand the guest’s preferred pronoun and name.
The material was prepared in partnership with the international association IGLTA which represents the LGBTQIA+ tourism sector.
The company also says it has an anti-discrimination policy and requires hosts to accept a term of commitment on the non-prejudiced treatment of people of different races, religion, origins, ethnicity, gender, age or sexual orientation.
