On Friday, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, met in Simferopol with mobilized citizens and their families to talk personally before being sent to the military units of Sevastopol, where men are expected to retrain and combat coordination.
The head of the region wrote about this in his Telegram channel on the morning of September 23.
According to Sergei Aksyonov, he also plans to visit Sevastopol on Monday, where he will meet with the personnel, check the conditions in which the Crimeans stay, and assess the state of the equipment.
“I will keep the material support of all the fighters under personal control,” the head of the Crimea promised, noting that the families of the mobilized would not be left without help. All questions can be asked to the head personally through the government portal or social networks.
Sergey Aksyonov expressed gratitude to the Crimeans and their families – for the courage “showed in a difficult time for the country”, for having decided to defend their homeland, their homes and families, for not being afraid, but showing considerable “strength of spirit and resilience.”
