Al-Burhan congratulates Putin on Russia’s National Day

On Friday, the head of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a cable of congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of Russia’s National Day, wishing the Russian people “continuity of development and growth”.

In his telegram, Al-Burhan expressed the desire of the Sudanese government and people to “advance the prospects of bilateral cooperation and strengthen relations between Sudan and Russia to serve the common interests of the peoples of the two countries.”

Russia celebrates the national holiday “Russia Day”, on June 12, which is a holiday to celebrate the sovereignty of the Russian Federation.
