The first group of the national team participating in the Arab Championship competitions, which is currently being held in the Egyptian Shooting Club in the 6th of October city, and continues until the 11th of this June, is witnessing a wide participation of Arab shooters representing 10 countries.

At the forefront of the recipients was Saeed Al Qasimi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Shooting Union, the technical director of the union, Dr. Muhammad Amer, and a number of officials.

Saeed Al Qasimi praised the achievement achieved by our shooters so far, expressing his great happiness with the achievement of the future stars of six medals, including four gold and two silver, wishing that the dirt team will succeed in adding another achievement.

Al Qasimi said that this achievement is not surprising for UAE shooting, and it is the fruit of an ambitious plan prepared by the Archery Federation with the aim of preparing a new generation of shooters for the future to bring the achievements back to the den of the Federation and serve as an artery for our national teams in the near future.

On the other hand, the national team shooters from the pit enter the atmosphere of the tournament, where they are participating in official training today, amid strong participation and competition from world champions, most of whom are qualified for the Tokyo Olympics.

The official competitions will be held today and tomorrow, and will be completed on Thursday with two additional rounds, to determine the identity of the teams that will qualify for the final of the national team championship.

The team is represented in this tournament by Hamad bin Mejren, Saif Al Shamsi, Yahya Al Muhairi, Dhaher Al Aryani and Abdullah Mohammed Buhaliba, in addition to two female shooters Fatima Mohammed and Aisha Al Yasi.
