Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that the delicate international circumstance requires Egypt to face very difficult global challenges.
“Our success in achieving the sustainable development goals is gaining more and more importance today,” Sisi told the “Sustainable Development Goals” meeting on the sidelines of the current session of the United Nations General Assembly.
He continued, “Egypt’s vision was crystallized in the Dignified Life Initiative, which is one of the most ambitious and comprehensive development programs.”
The Egyptian president added that “the success that Egypt was able to achieve was not achieved without sacrifices, through which the Egyptian citizen proved his ability to withstand difficulties in order to build his country.”
The Egyptian President stressed that Egypt is continuing at a steady pace, despite all challenges, to implement its ambitious economic reform program, in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
El-Sisi said that the results of the economic reform program proved the correctness of the Egyptian vision and have become the subject of widespread international praise from international financial institutions.
