A new explosion occurred on Saturday evening at the Sloboda military enterprise near the Serbian town of Chachak, Trend reports citing TASS.
According to her, the explosion occurred at about 20:00 local time (22:00 GMT + 4). Locals are posting photos of a huge column of smoke rising over the city on social media.
The newspaper notes that this is the second such incident since the beginning of June at this enterprise.
On June 4, Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin reported about explosions and a fire that occurred at the Sloboda warehouse in Cacak, which has a population of 70 thousand people. The warehouse was on fire for several days. The possibility of evacuating all residents of the city was considered, but in the end it was not required.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic later said that the damage from the fire ranged from € 1.5 million to € 2 million, there were no casualties.
