JEBRAIL / Trend / – During the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, Armenians destroyed eastern plane trees on them. Mehman Nabiyev, head of the sector of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, told reporters during a media tour organized in the Jebrail region, Trend reports on Tuesday.
During the trip, the media representatives visited the villages of Boyuk Marjanli and Amirvanli, where they got acquainted with the consequences of the Armenian vandalism.
Nabiev noted that eastern plane trees have been growing in this area for 800 years and have been included in the Red Book.
“35 eastern plane trees grew in Gubadli, Fizuli and Zangilan regions. During the occupation, the Armenians destroyed these trees,” he said.
