BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13Trend: On April 13, 2021, an auction was held at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) to place state short-term bonds of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan in the amount of 20 million manat with a circulation period of 364 days, Trend reports citing the stock exchange.
According to the BSE, during the auction, 17 investors submitted 27 applications in the price range from 90.95 manat (10 percent) to 95.09 manat (5.2 percent).
In accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Finance, the cut-off price of bonds was set at 94.99 manat (5.3 percent), and the weighted average price – 95.02 manat (5.27 percent). The total amount of applications at nominal prices amounted to about 110.6 million manat, and the volume of placement was 30 million manat.
The maturity date of the securities is April 12, 2022.
Note that the auction participants must fulfill their obligations to purchase bonds by April 14, 2021.
