In a new meeting this Monday (3), the Ministry of Health signaled that it should start vaccinating the Brazilian delegation that will go to the Tokyo Games from May 9th.
Six cities must be defined to receive athletes and other accredited people: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Fortaleza.
The Brazilian Olympic Committee consulted the government to find out if it would be possible to immunize members of the delegation who are abroad, but the answer was negative.
According to a survey, about 199 athletes are currently out of the country and will have to return if they want to receive the doses.
