Brazil wins direct confrontation with Poland and assumes isolated leadership in the League of Nations

The Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Team entered the court this Friday, in Rimini, and ended the third round of the League of Nations. In direct confrontation with Poland, the Brazilians won by 3 sets to 0 (25/17, 28/26 and 25/19) and assumed the leadership of the competition.

Brazil and Poland arrived for the duel sharing the leadership of the competition. The Seleção went to court with Lucarelli, Bruninho, Isac, Leal, Wallace, Mauricio Souza and Thales, as well as Vaccari, Mauricio Borges and Alan.

The victory came from the great performance of Wallace and Lucarelli – the opposite was the highest scorer, with 18, while the pointer ended the night with 16 hits.

The Seleção enters the court again on Tuesday and opens the fourth round against Slovenia, at 2:30 pm. Then he faces Iran and Australia.

Leading the competition with 24 points, Brazil seeks the unprecedented title of the League of Nations. Poland and France follow close behind, with 21 points.
