Campinas is surpassed by Minas in Superliga game

Current São Paulo volleyball champion, Vôlei Renata continues to stumble at the beginning of the 2021/22 volleyball Superliga. This Sunday, the team from Campinas suffered another defeat at home, this time to Fiat/Gerdau/Minas. The game ended 3-1, split 26/24; 18/25; 35/33 and 25/33.

“We had a great game. Both teams sought victory all the time. It was an intense game, great saves, great blocks, but unfortunately we couldn’t come out with the result. We tied the game 1-1, in the third set, we got a good advantage, but once again we let it go. This we have to improve. We created the opportunity, built an advantage, we cannot afford to lose this ‘fat’ in two rotations”, lamented coach Marcos Pacheco, from Campinas.

Surprisingly, Volei Renata has three defeats in the first three rounds of the Superliga. Fiat/Gerdau/Minas continues with 100% success in two presentations.

Sada Cruzeiro and Sesi lead, for now, the Superliga classification. The two teams have three wins and add eight points in the standings.
