In China, 19 pharmaceutical companies have been fined for violating accounting laws and artificially inflating prices for medicines. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the country’s Ministry of Finance.
It is emphasized that after numerous complaints from local residents, an inspection of 77 companies selling medicines began. As a result, a number of major problems were identified, including the use of false checks and invoices, and improper bookkeeping. Now administrative sanctions will be applied to violators.
The minimum fine for such offenses is $ 4.5 thousand, and the maximum one is $ 7.6 thousand.
