Dona Miguelina, mother of Ronaldinho Gaúcho dies as a result of covid-19
Hospitalized since December, due to the covid-19 infection, Miguelina Elói Assis dos Santos, mother of Ronaldinho Gaúcho, died this Saturday in Porto Alegre, due to complications from the disease. The mother of the five-time world champion with Brazil was 71 years old and was admitted to the ICU of Hospital Mãe de Deus, in the state capital.
The player has not yet commented on what happened, however, exchanged his profile picture on social networks for an all black icon, something that refers to mourning. Belo Horizonte Mayor Alexandre Kalil published a message of support for the player.

Kalil was president of Atlético-MG during the victorious passage that the player had for the club of Minas. There, Ronaldinho won the 2013 Libertadores. Both have had a friendship since that time.
The Rooster also commented on the death.
