The Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro ordered Facebook to pay R$20,000 in moral damages to a psychotherapist who uses the social network who had her commercial account suspended for approximately six months in 2019.
She used the page with almost 10,000 followers to promote her work, but was blocked because the platform considered that one of her posts, with the image of a female silhouette, did not comply with the network’s standards. There is still appeal. Sought by Panel SA, Facebook does not comment.
