A resident of the Kazakh city of Alma-Ata opened fire on Monday, which killed five people, including two police officers. According to the press service of the police department of the metropolis, the suspect was detained.
“During the implementation of the court order on eviction in one of the private houses, the resident of this house – citizen D. born in 1967 – showed aggression and opened fire from firearms at bailiffs, local police inspectors, employees of the Department of Emergency Situations,” says in the message.
According to the department, five people, including two police officers, received fatal gunshot wounds. The suspect is neutralized and detained.
