Abundant precipitation caused a sharp rise in water in the rivers of the Khabarovsk Territory. Three settlements were in the flood zone, the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Two land plots were flooded in the village of Korsakovo-2, Khabarovsk region, a road in the village of Gaiter, Komsomolsk region, as well as a personal plot and a street in the village of Uni, Nanay region. Rescuers have already arrived there to monitor the situation.
In Solnechny District, the Merek River, which changed its course, washed away the road embankment on the section of the route from the village of Amgun to the village of Dzhamku. On the section of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur – Chegdomyn road, traffic was temporarily restricted for all types of transport. Experts went to the site to carry out restoration work.
In addition, in the Solnechny district, the overflowing river Silinka washed away the bulk bumper of the roadway.
Rescuers note that the settlements located on the rivers Khor, Kiya, Ussuri, Urmi, Manoma, Anyui, Sitinka are under special control. According to forecasts, the water level in them may rise up to one meter and reach the level of an unfavorable phenomenon.
