Florida rapper Kodak Black dropped his new single, “Senseless,” at 3:30 on Monday afternoon, and then, a few ticks after 4 p.m., DJ Frisco954 posted a “fast” remix: a sped-up, pitched-up version of “Senseless” that transformed the rapper’s serrated drawl into a 320-grit sandpaper chirp. And then it kept happening. Within the hour, other DJs had uploaded their fast remixes of “Senseless” to YouTube, too. Like cellular division, one song became two, then four, then more.
