For committing seven crimes, a resident of the Tver region was sent to a colony-settlement

In Bezhetsk, Tver region, a trial took place over a man who violated the law seven times. According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the convict committed three crimes against property and four more against public safety.

In January 2021, a drunk man deliberately damaged the cars of two acquaintances, and some time later tried to steal a phone from a stranger’s jacket at a hairdresser. During a search of his house, gunpowder, cartridges and a self-made pistol were found. During the trial, the defendant pleaded guilty and made peace with his acquaintances, compensating for the damage.

By a court decision, he was sentenced to 3 years and 3 months in a penal colony, and a fine of 101 thousand rubles was also issued.
