High school students who take part in the All-Russian competition “Big Change”, the project of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, for the first time in 2021 can apply for monetary grants to implement their own initiatives. Ksenia Razuvaeva, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, announced this to journalists on Thursday.
The final of the “Big Break” competition is held from November 9 to 13 at the Artek International Children’s Center. 1,500 students of grades 9-11 from all over Russia take part in the final of the competition. In the decisive tests, 600 winners of the second season of the competition will be determined, 300 students of 11 grades will receive 1 million rubles each for education and additional points to the portfolio of achievements when entering universities, 300 students in grades 9 and 10 – 200 thousand rubles each for education and self-development.
“We have introduced a separate nomination for the participants of the Big Change, this year at the finals the guys have the opportunity not only to defend their projects, but also to get the opportunity to finance. projects are team, not individual, “said Razuvaeva.
She added that the jury also welcomes when projects are implemented together with mentoring teachers and parents. “We have about 123 thousand teachers-mentors on this project, more than 150 thousand families who participate in the project. This is also, perhaps, one of such features of this year – a large number of events within the“ Big Change ”, which were dedicated to the rapprochement of generations in including when parents came with their children, “she said.
“We have more than 10 directions in the Big Change project, which are devoted to the topic of ecology, technology, volunteering, there is a patriotic direction together with Yunarmiya. The entire palette of children’s interests is taken into account in the Big Change project. Exactly with the same logic all projects in this area can be supported, “Razuvaeva said.
