HSC students will be ‘relieved’ to begin exams

NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell says HSC students will be overwhelmingly “feeling relieved” their exams have kicked off after a very tough year due to the pandemic.

“We had nearly 70,000 HSC students across New South Wales sit down today, starting with English Paper 1 this morning,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“It’s been a tough year for these kids, I think they’ve had a lot thrown at them.

“And I think overwhelmingly, they’ll be feeling relieved that the exams have kicked off and no doubt counting down to the 3rd of December which is the last day for the HSC this year.”
