The term “Pifaizer” was one of the most talked about subjects on the internet this Thursday (10). All thanks to a video that went viral on social networks in which the company Pfizer is quoted with this pronunciation.
The material was published by a humorist from Minas Gerais who identifies himself as Esse Menino, 24. In it, the boy pretends to be a pharmaceutical representative and to be writing emails to offer batches of vaccine against Covid-19. “Here she’s the one talking, Pfizer,” he says playfully.
During Covid’s CPI, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP) said that 81 letters were sent by Pfizer to the federal government between March 2020 and April this year. About 90% would not have received a response from the Jair Bolsonaro management (no party).
In the video for Esse Menino, with each email ignored, the tone of indignation increases. “Please ignore the latest emails,” it says at the end. “It turns out that now we’ve closed with New York, much better than you, they have Lady Gaga. She’s half Italian, did you know? Stay there with your Juliana Paes. Kiss and good luck.”
This last part is a reference to the Brazilian actress, who has been criticized for a video in which she says she does not approve of “the arrogant ideals of the extreme right nor the communist delusions of the extreme left”. Before, she was being demanded about her political position.
In the video caption, the comedian also takes the opportunity to expressly criticize the president. “We were supposed to be vaccinated, many people died and are dying at the whim of this shit,” he wrote.
The publication was widely shared and the comedian gained many followers — he now has almost 170,000 on Instagram. “I don’t understand it’s nothing, I’m disoriented,” she said.
“Guys, yesterday I was going to celebrate 40 thousand [seguidores], today I’ll have to celebrate 100 thousand, surprised himself. “I’m the new Juliette [Freire, vencedora do Big Brother Brasil 21]? No, you let me know I don’t understand.”
This Boy started his career in 2018 with videos on Instagram where he talks about politics, pop culture and behavior in a humorous way. In 2019, he also started making stand up presentations. In addition to being a comedian, he is a screenwriter.
