In the Amur region, a drunken man fired a gun at a policeman

In the Amur region, investigators opened a criminal case against a 52-year-old resident of the village of Urusha. The man is charged with an article on encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer, the regional department of the RF IC reports.

According to the investigators, on the afternoon of June 22, the drunk defendant, while on the veranda, fired from a hunting rifle at a policeman who drove up to his house in a company car.

As specified in the prosecutor’s office of the region, the buckshot damaged the car, but the employee was not hurt.

The suspect was arrested and placed in a temporary detention center. The sanction of article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for imprisonment for a term of 12 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
