British singer Jessie J, 33, announces her return to the music world with the release of the single “I Want Love”, this Friday (11). “I wanted to come back with a song that sounded classic but modern, with a lot of vocals and that put everyone on the dance floor,” said the singer.
The single was co-written and co-produced with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. “I can’t wait for the world to hear this song, dance and sing out loud,” continued Jessie J, who for this release had deleted all her Instagram photos.
The artist is coming off a hiatus of about two years without releasing new works. In 2019, she had sung the track “Brave”, by Dutch DJ Don Diabo, and her last album was presented in 2018, entitled “ROSE”, which bears the name of her mother and her favorite flower.
Owner of the hit “Bang Bang”, released in partnership with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, the singer has other hits such as “Flashlight”, “Price Tag”, “Nobody’s Perfect”, “Who You Are” and “Domino”. Now in her new era, the singer is preparing for her fifth studio album, which is due to arrive later in 2021.
Jessie J is one of the UK’s most renowned artists and with three albums released, she has sold over 13 million copies worldwide, according to Universal Music. His debut album, “Who You Are”, which turns 10 in 2021, was certified Platinum in countries like the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.
