June 8: Germany has 1,117 new cases of Covid-19 infection, 140 deaths per day

On June 8, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 1.204 new infections, slightly more than the previous day (1.117). There were 140 corona deaths per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence dropped to 22.9 (24.3). In all federal states, this figure is below 30. Currently, 1,796 patients are undergoing intensive care. Almost 38 million people in Germany have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
