One of the athlete’s great defenders and his main career coach is Renato Gaúcho. Idol of the Immortal, the coach also wore shirt 7 as a player and always played an important role in his good spell at Tricolor. Luan emphasized the affection, but understands that it is not time to return.

“Renato was a big daddy. He helped me a lot, we achieved a lot together and I have a lot of affection for him. But he is at Grêmio and I at Corinthians. I want to focus here and be happy here”.

The most brilliant season of the shirt 7 by Grêmio was in 2017, the year of the conquest of the third championship of the Libertadores. Much demand that the player return to have the same performance. He, however, believes this to be difficult, since it was an atypical year for the group, not just for him.

“I think the following, it was a special year for everyone in the squad. Everyone did very well. And the following year, Cebolinha and I were fighting over the team’s artillery. Compared to 2017, I went under, but within the team I I’ve always been good. We fought for Libertadores, Copa do Brasil. In relation to 2017, obviously it was a little lower, but it’s normal “.
