Manchester United showed their strength on Thursday and beat Granada away from home, 2-0. The match at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium was dominated by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
In Manchester United’s better first half, the English team left with the advantage won in the 30th minute, with Rashford. Shirt 10 received a long throw from Lindelof, dominated with category and played in the exit of goalkeeper Rui Silva.
The visitors continued to play better in the second half, but had difficulties to expand the score. Only on 44 minutes did Bruno Fernandes take a penalty to give the final numbers to the game and take the good advantage to England.
All four games today will be repeated next Thursday, at 4 pm (Brasília time). Manchester United return to play at Old Trafford, now with an advantage.
Ajax misses penalty and gives in to Roma at home
Ajax lost chances at home at the Johan Cruijff Arena and took the 2-1 lead to Roma.
The teams had a balanced first half, but the home team’s goal came from an error in the Italians’ defensive touch. In the 38th minute, Klaassen took advantage of a very short setback, stole the ball and scored with Tadic to open the scoring for the Dutch.

Tadic still missed a penalty kick in the 7th minute of the second half. Four minutes later, Lorenzo Pellegrini took a strong free kick and managed to beat the Ajax goalkeeper, drawing the match. In the 41st minute, Ibanez took advantage of a corner kick still in the Ajax area and turned the game over to Rome, giving final numbers to the game in Amsterdam.
Arsenal give up draw at the end of the game for Slavia Praha
Playing at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal struggled to open the scoring against Slavia Praha, but they played the ball in the area in the second half and came away with a 1-1 draw.
With Aubameyang on the bench, Arsenal failed to score in the first half, but kept more of the ball and kicked more on goal. Even so, the visitors managed to play well and have real chances.
The number 14 entered the field in the second half and got the assist of the goal. Nicolas Pépé was launched at speed from the right of the attack and won the defense of Slavia Praha. When the game already seemed decided, Tomas Holes took advantage of a cross ball in the English area to start a great draw for the visitors, in the 48th minute.
Villareal dominates away from home and wins Dinamo Zagreb
Dinamo Zagreb hosted Villareal at the Maksimir Stadium on Thursday and failed to achieve the expected result. The Croatian team ended up losing 1-0 on a score that could have been higher.
Even away from home, Villareal scared more in the first half against Dinamo Zagreb and got a goal in the 43rd minute, with Moreno taking a penalty.
The Spanish team continued to dominate the actions in the second half, but failed to widen the gap and take an even bigger advantage home.
