An expert panel on the Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential show discussed a UK visit for Harry and Meghan to meet with the Queen in private.
One commentator, Andrew Pierce, believes the pair are “desperate” to meet with the Queen as she aids their “saleability” across the pond.
He claimed: “They know their only saleability in the United States is their connection to the most famous woman on the planet – the Queen – which is why they are desperate to see her.
“It’s all about product Harry and product Meghan plc.”
Other experts on the panel also claimed a meeting would help “keep up the royal connection” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Diarist Richard Eden agreed with Mr Pierce’s comments, suggesting a meeting between the couple and the monarch would happen at some point in the future.

The commentary about a potential visit comes as Prince Harry celebrates his 37th birthday today, the first as a father-of-two.
He received public birthday messages on social media from Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton, as well as his father, Prince Charles.
Kate and William shared a snap of Harry with the caption “Happy Birthday Prince Harry!” alongside a balloon emoji, while the Clarence House account for Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall shared three images of the 37-year-old captioned “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very Happy Birthday today!” alongside a birthday cake emoji.
The Queen also expressed her well wishes to her grandson and shared a selection of four images from over the years, including one of Harry and Meghan together captioned “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a happy birthday today!”
