The Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights will launch a channel to report violence against children directly to the guardianship council of the region where the case occurs.
The service will work through georeferencing, which will identify the location from which the call is being made and will connect the complainant to the nearest guardianship adviser. The service will be accessed by entering the 125 number on the phone. The forecast is for it to be launched in the second half of this year.
The channel will be managed by the National Human Rights Ombudsman, linked to the portfolio managed by Minister Damares Alves.
