More than 1,200 journalists from 44 countries have applied to the Swiss Foreign Ministry with a request for accreditation to the Russia-US summit in Geneva. This was announced on Monday to TASS by the head of the communications and public diplomacy department of the Swiss Foreign Ministry, Nicola Bidault.
“To date, 1,240 journalists have asked for accreditation. They come from 44 countries. The summit has generated truly global interest,” he said. “There have never been so many journalists in Geneva,” Bidault said.
