More than 15 thousand Dutch tulips will bloom in spring in Smolensk

Experts from Zelenstroy have begun planting 15.5 thousand bulbs of Dutch tulips in flower beds in Smolensk. This was reported in the press service of the regional center administration.

“Tulips are planted in the park in memory of Heroes, near the music school, on Konenkov street and in the public area on Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya street,” the department said.

Tulip bulbs came from Holland. It is believed that breeders there breed the most beautiful and high-quality plants, famous for their variety of colors.

Tulips usually bloom by early May. “Smolensk residents and guests of our city will be able to admire the bright compositions of red, yellow, pink and purple tulips,” added the Smolensk administration.
