Near Anapa, because of the crossover driver who fell asleep, six people were injured, including children

The driver of the crossover, according to preliminary data, fell asleep while driving and drove onto the sidewalk in the village of Sukko near Anapa, as a result six people were injured, including three children, the press service of the Krasnodar Territory prosecutor’s office told reporters on Thursday.

“As a result of the exit of the Toyota RAV4 car on the sidewalk, 6 people were injured: 3 adults and 3 children. The preliminary reason is that the driver of the crossover fell asleep while driving,” the ministry said in a statement.

The Anapa Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office organized a check on the fact of the accident, the Anapa Interdistrict Prosecutor Alexander Fomenko went to the scene.

A source in the regional emergency services told TASS that among the victims four people, including two children, are visitors from the Vladimir region, two more people, including one child, are from Saratov.
