Passengers from Gama and Santa Maria to Cruzeiro, Southwest and the Industry and Supply (SIA) and North Storage and Supply (SAAN) sectors must use the BRB Mobilidade card, starting this Saturday (4), to make integration with lines 2210, 2211, 2309 and 2310 of BRT Sul.
Cards can be purchased at the ticket offices of the BRT do Gama and Santa Maria terminals, in addition to the Park Way station. In all three locations, it is also possible to recharge credits. To facilitate the acquisition, it is still possible to register through the BRB Mobilidade website and go to the post just to pick up the document.
In addition, the service will be reinforced by the BRB Mobility van, which will serve passengers at the Santa Maria integration terminal, from Thursday (2) to September 10, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on weekdays.
At the BRT do Gama and Santa Maria terminals and at the Park Way station, ticket offices are open from Monday to Sunday, from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Gama passengers also have access to these services at the region’s bus station, in the Central Sector, from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
It is important to remember that the BRT system is operated using cards, so it is not possible to pay for the ticket in cash. Thus, users of conventional lines that do not have any type of Public Transport System card in the DF need to purchase them.
Due to these changes, lines 203.3, 203.6, 203.7, in Gama, and 0.256, 0.276, 256.1 and 256.2, in Santa Maria, will be suspended.
Even with these changes, these passengers from Gama and Santa Maria will continue to pay the same current fare, R$ 5.50. For this, they must use the integration card, in order to integrate the circular lines with those connecting the BRT.
The four new BRT Sul lines will be operated with new Padron-type vehicles, which are part of the Pioneer company’s fleet renewal. The collectives will operate on the exclusive BRT Sul lane, with faster journeys, improving the quality of the transport service offered with greater comfort, and reducing travel times.
The new 2210 stop line will depart from the BRT do Gama terminal to Cruzeiro, also passing through the SIA and SAAN. It will operate on weekdays, at peak times, with 10 trips in total.
In turn, leaving the Santa Maria terminal, there will be two new stopping lines. Line 2309 goes to Cruzeiro and Sudoeste through SIA, with 24 hours on weekdays and 15 on Saturdays, while line 2310 serves SIA and SAAN, with 14 departures from Monday to Friday and another five on Saturdays.
The new 2211 line will leave the Park Way Station, during off-peak hours, where it will be possible to carry out the integration to SIA, Cruzeiro and Sudoeste. There will be 21 trips from Monday to Friday and 14 on Saturdays.
This new operation will also bring change for passengers from Gama and Santa Maria who need to go to the Urban Military Sector (SMU). Also from this Saturday (4), these users must use the express lines from BRT Sul to the Plano Piloto Bus Station, in order to integrate with lines 0.143, 143.2 and 108.5 to complement their displacements, due to the deactivation of the lines 203.7 and 256.2.
