Candidates for the presidency of Peru – representatives of the left-wing radical Free Peru party Pedro Castillo and the right-wing People’s Force party Keiko Fujimori – voted on Sunday in the second round of presidential elections. This was reported by the El Comercio newspaper, Trend reports with reference to TASS.
According to her, Castillo took part in the declaration of will in the city of Takabamba (northern region of Cajamarca). Fujimori, in turn, visited a polling station in one of the districts of Lima.
The President-elect will take office on 28 July. His mandate is for five years.
