40% : In Ligue 1 Uber Eats, eight clubs out of twenty (40%) are owned by foreign majority shareholders for the 2021/2022 season. A proportion on the rise following the ascents of ESTAC and Clermont.

7 M€ : The sale of the Elan Béarnais to the Counterpointe Sports Group is confirmed. With € 7m budget announced for 2021-22 against € 4.8m this season, the team will become more competitive. Note that within this group, some names are well known to basketball fans (Mashburn / Pitino).

1,3 M€ : On the occasion of the Jeep Elite Final 4, the National Basketball League (LNB) formalized the arrival of Betclic as the new title partner of the French Championship from the 2021-2022 season. The sports betting operator signed a 3-season contract and then took over from the car manufacturer Jeep. Note that the partnership forged with Jeep was valued at 1.3 million euros per year.
