The president of the Association of Brazilian Magistrates, Renata Gil, countered the rapporteur of the administrative reform, Arthur Maia (DEM-BA), and told the Panel that the judges will not accept “violations to the Constitution and the Organic Law of the Judiciary”. The congressman said that the Chamber can, yes, include the category among those impacted by the proposed changes.
“Only the STF can propose changes in the organization of the Judiciary. Any amendment that extends the federal government’s administrative reform to judges and prosecutors will suffer from a vice of initiative”, says Renata.
