The president of the council that brings together state health secretaries, Carlos Lula, says that the number of deaths by Covid-19 recorded on Tuesday (8) could mean the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
Brazil registered 2,693 new deaths, according to a consortium of press vehicles.
“It’s still not possible to say that we’ve entered the third wave, but we may be seeing it start right now,” he said.
