The Earl of Wessex, 57, has been snapped wearing a FitBit, a device owned by many Brits, which enables users to track their exercise throughout the day. This includes anything from their heart rate to the number of calories burnt in a work-out.
The number of people using FitBits to exercise one to two times per week reportedly went up by as much as 6 percent once the pandemic swept across Britain in March 2020.
And it would seem Prince Edward may also fall into that category.
While it has been difficult even for the most eagle-eyed observer to pinpoint what model the gizmo was, it will come as somewhat of a surprise that Edward opted to go for a bold choice when it came to colour.
The Earl of Wessex, who was wearing a green-suit on his visit to the West Country, can be seen with a bright pink wristband wrapped around his wrist.

Even Edward’s sister-in-law, Charles’ second wife Camilla Parker-Bowles, went for a more modest grey strap when she was spotted wearing her very own FitBit in 2020.
The Duchess of Cornwall could be seen wearing the FitBit Charge 3 during a visit to Wiltshire.
Her model is also swim-proof and able to distinguish between different types of exercises.
But Edward’s investment might also prove useful for the Prince as it will enable him to assess his movements during his official visits around Britain.
