Queensland owes almost $40m to NSW for hotel quarantine

New South Wales has issued Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory a second invoice for unpaid hotel quarantine costs.

Queensland owes $39.8 million to NSW for putting up residents in hotel quarantine, while Western Australia and the Northern Territory owe $10 million combined.

Victoria and Tasmania have paid the hotel quarantine bills outright and the ACT and South Australia are expected to follow.
