State and federal leaders have led a chorus of criticism at a Melbourne couple who brought COVID-19 to Queensland.
The pair made their way up north despite Victoria’s stay home order leaving a trail of infected venues behind them in New South Wales and Queensland.
State authorities are attempting to determine if the couple broke rules by leaving Melbourne during the lockdown.
An interview between Victorian authorities and the pair has strongly suggested a permanent relocation to Queensland was the reason for leaving.
There have been no cases connected to the couple in either Queensland or New South Wales.
