Roberto Campos, from BC, parades without a mask and as a bet for the Economy at Bolsonaro’s dinner with businessmen – 04/08/2021 – Mônica Bergamo

Jair Bolsonaro took a larger party to the dinner with businessmen in São Paulo than the number of billionaires who responded to the invitation to meet with him. There were six ministers, the president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos, and a few more parliamentarians – among them, his own son, Eduardo Bolsonaro.

At dinner there were only five Brazilian billionaires listed by Forbes – and David Safra, whose family appears in the ranking.

The ministers were Ricardo Salles (Environment), Paulo Guedes (Economy), Fábio Faria (Communications), Onyx Lorenzoni (General Secretariat), Tarcísio Freitas (Infrastructure) and Carlos Alberto França (Foreign Affairs).

LIGHT AND LOOSE

Chancellor France, by the way, circulated without being disturbed, since nobody recognized him.

STAR

The president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos, was treated like a star. Many of the businessmen see him as a potential substitute for the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes.

Campos, by the way, spent much of his time without a mask at dinner. And it even appeared in a photo posted by Ton Cinel, the host’s son, Washington Cinel, next to Eduardo Bolsonaro. Both also without masks.

Campos was applauded when talking about vaccination in Brazil. Paulo Guedes, on the other hand, received enthusiastic praise from Flávio Rocha, from Riachuelo.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Rocha said that, for the economic war that will follow that of the coronavirus, Bolsonaro could not have a “more equipped general” than Guedes. It was applauded.

FAMOUS WHO?

Bolsonaro surprised several times. One of them was when introducing one of the members of the delegation who stood beside him when he spoke.

NELES ROUTE
