The Rostov Region during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) signed cooperation agreements with a number of well-known companies, as well as with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary for a total amount of 21 billion rubles. The head of the region Vasily Golubev told reporters about this, his words are quoted by the official website of the regional government.
According to Golubev, agreements have been reached, in particular, with Baltika Breweries, Mobile TeleSystems, ICS 5 Corporate Center, Dom.RF, SoWiTec operation GmbH, Leader production company, Technonikol “, JSC” Sinara Group “, JSC” Russian Towers “and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary.
“We have a dynamically developing relationship with the company, and this is confirmed by the new documents that we signed today,” the governor commented on the agreement with Baltika Breweries.
Speaking about the agreement signed with Mobile TeleSystems, the head of the region expressed the hope that the company understands that communication is important for the Rostov region not only in large cities, but also in small settlements.
“It is known that the Rostov region is the territory of“ figures ”, the territory of information, intelligent systems. And it is very important for cooperation to move in this direction, ”Golubev added, expressing confidence that the agreement will lay the foundation for the new development of the region.
Assessing the agreement with the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, the governor recalled that the development of the agro-industrial complex for both the Rostov region and Hungary is of particular importance. The region is interested in the experience of Budapest. The parties intend to create conditions for accelerating the development of trade and economic relations in the region, he said.
Among the signed contracts is an agreement with Mars, which plans to increase the production capacity of its pet food plant in the Aksai region. The corresponding document was signed by Vasily Golubev and the President of Mars in Russia Valery Shchapov.
“Mars is our long-standing and very reliable partner. Together we have already gone the way of creating two stages of modern pet food production. Now we have agreed on the next step. There is no doubt that the company will fulfill its obligations, ”the governor said.
Also on June 4, at the SPIEF site, the results of the national rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were presented. So, the Rostov region showed dynamics and rose in the national rating from 31st place to 12th. The three leaders are Moscow, Tatarstan and the Tyumen region.
In 2021, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, organized by the Roscongress Foundation, was held from 2 to 5 June. Within the framework of the forum, agreements were concluded worth more than 3.8 trillion rubles.
