The daily death toll from the new Corona virus in Saudi Arabia for the first time since late last summer exceeded the threshold of 900, amid increasing fears of a re-high rate of the epidemic in the Kingdom.
Today, Thursday, the Saudi Ministry of Health confirmed that 902 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours (compared to 783 the previous day), which represents the largest toll since August 30, when 951 cases were detected.

The largest number of these new infections (402) is due to the Riyadh region, followed by the Makkah Region (163 cases) and the Eastern Region (155 cases).
During the last day, the Saudi health authorities recorded nine new deaths due to “Covid-19” disease, while 469 patients were cured.
The total number of HIV infections recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 395,854 confirmed cases, including 6728 deaths, 381658 recoveries, and 7,468 active cases, including 874 critically ill patients.
