Second edition of Campus Party Digital starts this Thursday | Brasilia Web

Starts today (22) and extends to the 24th the second edition of Campus Party Digital. In addition to the lectures, the fully digital event will also feature traditional hackatons and a demo day aimed at incubating solutions in the technology area. Entertainment and fun activities are also programmed, such as online karaokes, hacker radio, quizzes, escape rooms and treasure hunt games and virtual travel.

The objective is to promote in the virtual world the same sense of belonging and fun that the campus communities are used to seeing and feeling in face-to-face editions. In addition, the event aims to promote entrepreneurship, creativity and networking between campus members and the various communities and public and private institutions. Among the confirmed participants are Maitê Lourenço (CEO and founder of BlackRocks Startups), Eva Lazarin (CEO and founder of Benkyou), Débora Garofalo (Coordinator of the Innovation Center of the São Paulo State Department of Education), Luís Justo (CEO of the State of São Paulo Rock in Rio), Ricardo Cappra (Chief Data Scientist at Cappra Lab), Caito Maia (Founder of Chilli Beans), Dado Schneider (creator of Claro brand) and Paco Ragageles (founder of Campus Party).

According to Marcos Gouvêa de Souza, founder and general director of Gouvêa Ecosystem, which acquired the license to hold the event in Brazil this year, the expectation is to generate a real contribution to accelerate the digital transformation of Brazil, in its most diverse sectors and segments . “Through the Campus Party, we were able to provoke a greater engagement of young people with broad themes that stimulate the evolution of society and citizenship”, he said.

The 2021 edition will feature six stages divided into various themes such as the labor market and economy; clean energy and the environment; health and science; entertainment and digital culture; and education and gov tech. The second digital edition of Campus Party also aims to encourage engagement among participants, to enable the exercise of digital citizenship and foster the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the sectors of entrepreneurship, science and innovation.

“The second edition of Campus Party Digital Edition, in addition to the metaverse element, gives us the opportunity to be increasingly multi-platform for the technology and disruption communities within the entire Campus Party ecosystem. Our inclusion DNA remains vibrant and intense. Last year Campus Party Digital brought together 1,421,401 people in online events and had the participation of 2,613 speakers from 120 nationalities. The festival was joined by 31 countries and supported by 385 partners, including institutions, companies, media, universities and communities.
