On September 15, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 12,455 new cases of Covid-19 infection, which is twice as many as in the previous day (6,325). Another 83 deaths from the corona were recorded per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence dropped to 77.9 (81.1). More than 51.7 million people in Germany have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. 1537 patients with Covid are in intensive care units.

Since the start of the pandemic, 4,101,931 cases of the virus have been identified in Germany. This means that the number of cases in comparison with the previous day increased by 12,455 cases. In total, 92,769 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
