In Moscow, it is necessary to make sure that every district is landscaped at a high level, said Sergei Sobyanin, the leader of the capital’s list of United Russia at the forthcoming elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. He met with residents of the Western Administrative District and discussed the prospects for the development of the megaolis at the headquarters of the party’s public support. “We have created the My District program. And the whole team is working to ensure that every district has everything: its own cinema, its own gym, its own cool park, its own pedestrian street and workplaces, – said the politician. – The most difficult thing is jobs, of course. Everything else, I have no doubt, we will do it at a good, high-quality level: we will both equip and provide objects of social and cultural life, trade and so on. The hardest part is with jobs. Over the years, we have significantly changed the proportion: we have increased the number of jobs outside the Third Ring Road ”.
As noted by Sobyanin, developers and investors donate finances to the Moscow fund for permission to build housing and partially return these funds back if they create jobs where the city needs it – in particular, beyond the Third Transport Ring and outside the Moscow Ring Road.
The politician also spoke about when the Vnukovo metro station will open. “I think it will take another year or a year and a half, and you will be able to travel not only to the center, but also in the opposite direction to the airport,” Sobyanin said, saying that at the end of next year it is planned to fully launch the Big Ring Metro Line. And MCD-4, according to him, is planned to open in 2023-2024.
